MDVic has existed as a group on social communication media since 9 August 2015 providing a platform for building the community and keeping alive the cultural links with Kerala. Meetings have been organised during festivals and other holidays for members to renew their friendships and showcase their cultural talents.
On 9 August 2021, MDVic has been registered as a not for profit organisation with a governing body and a set of objectives.
MDVic is a not for profit association of medical graduates of Kerala origin who have made their home in Victoria, Australia.
This group provides a platform for social and professional interaction, to extend help and support to each other and to
provide charitable services to the wider community. MDVic was registered as a formal not for profit organisation in 2021.
